What Sets Me Apart

I’m young enough that the advice I give your child will still carry the weight of peer pressure. Think of me as that friend you’d want to see them hanging around with more often. Not only am I an academic powerhouse (I was valedictorian of my high school and made the dean’s list every year while in college), I’m also highly sociable (I was homecoming king as well!). I have a diverse set of interests that allows me to comfortably connect with and influence people – especially kids who aren’t super motivated to study. Here are some topics over which past students and I have bonded: agricultural robotics, Nietzsche, Salvador Dali, viola-hate jokes (I play the viola, so it’s okay…), ultimate frisbee, Harry Potter, and 2Pac.
